My sister, Maureen, is a patient at ManorCare in Bethlehem, Pa. She is receiving wonderful care from the ManorCare staff. They are very caring and responsive.

I was admitted to ManorCare Bethlehem in October 2015 for therapy/rehabilitation. After all of this time and all of these treatments, I feel compelled to write to you to compliment all of the men and women employed at the ManorCare center for the excellence and professionalism by the therapy/rehabilitation staff, maintenance department, nurses and nurses’ assistants, and care workers. They have always been attentive to my needs and have been very conscious of the time constraints that sometimes bear upon their profession. I cannot list the individuals by name who have been so helpful. However, I can assure you that everyone with whom I have dealt has been excellent.

Nevertheless, there are four individuals whom l would like to name in particular for their professional services. That is Jean, Michael and Amanda and a care worker by the name of Veronica. I do not know how long these people have been employed in their capacity, but HCR ManorCare is fortunate to have these people in its employ for as long as it has been.

I believe that sometimes the men and women of ManorCare Bethlehem at 2029 Westgate Drive are overlooked by the public. They perform a necessary and integral function in our medical system. And do so bravely and with dedication. They deserve praise and thanks, and l hope that by this letter you can appreciate the valuable service they provide to people who are in need of rehabilitation.

"When I was deciding where to go for rehabilitation, I chose MedBridge at ManorCare Health Services - Bethlehem because they were very good to me during my previous rehab stay. The nurses were very good and the physical therapists were excellent. Jean, Physical Therapy Assistant, Tracy, Occupational Therapist, and Devin, Speech-Language Pathologist, are some of the best therapists. They are very sweet and dedicated to helping you improve your condition. I really appreciate what all of the therapists did for me and I am very thankful to the nursing staff. They did a beautiful job with my rehab. When I get home, I am looking forward to staying healthy, helping others and cooking. I might even come back to volunteer my time. I love ManorCare, but I am ready to go home. I would recommend ManorCare - Bethlehem to anyone who needs rehabilitation.
