Amy's Pulmonary Recovery at ManorCare Health Services - Libertyville
Amy admitted to ManorCare for skilled nursing and intensive therapy due to weakness and trouble breathing.
"After my hospital stay, I was still just very weak and couldn’t get enough oxygen. The most important thing I wanted from therapy was to be able to breathe better, I just couldn’t get enough air; I was too tired. I have made progress since being at ManorCare Health Services - Libertyville. I do mostly physical therapy and some occupational therapy and it’s just working with all the different parts of your body and trying to make them stronger. I have improved with my leg and arm strength and I can breathe better. The most positive experience during my stay is the therapy, the therapists are very nice. My husband was at ManorCare - Libertyville last year, so I knew some of the therapists. Overall, the aides have been very nice to me and the nurses have been super." – Amy, ManorCare Patient
