I am the wife of Richard, a former patient of ManorCare Monroeville. I would like to compliment the nurse staff and the aides. The staff were all very caring people with good hearts. Very high compliments go out to the administrator and DON, who are very approachable. The staff have very high regards for the administrator and DON. The administrator's and DON's presence is known to everyone, especially to family members. The rehab staff is excellent. I was so happy with the care; it was beyond what I could imagine. Thank you to everybody.

My son, Wade, was in a car accident and was admitted to ManorCare – Monroeville for therapy. I was terrified at the thought of my son in a nursing facility, but there was not a single person who didn't give him his or her best. I want to recognize Amanda (administrator), Linda (front desk), Jennifer, Alissa, Kara, Chris, Becky, Lauren, Amy, Amanda, Megan, Chris and Hosanna. I’m sorry if I failed to recognize someone. They all have tough jobs and kept my son from getting bored or depressed.

Chris talked to Wade about one of his favorite topics – fishing. Everyone kept him busy. Hosanna is just lovely and gave wonderful hugs. The dietary ladies were so friendly; they made sure he was eating enough. The nursing personnel were absolutely unbelievable; words are not enough. They are the most pleasant people.

Before my son's discharge, I bought pizza for everybody. I couldn’t eat because I cried so much. I didn’t want to say good bye. I believe my son was given another chance at life. His experience with ManorCare and its staff has really touched him. He is thinking about going into the field of rehabilitation.

My name is Jeff, and I’m calling on behalf of my mother, who’s a patient at ManorCare -Monroeville. After three days, I just have to tell you what a great facility you have. It’s beautifully clean, and the employees actually look like they want to be there. I am very pleased with the care that my mother is receiving there, more importantly the physical therapy. My mother is 90 years old, and she’s had a fall, so we’re just trying to get her back on her sticks. We had her in another nursing home before ManorCare, but it was a total disaster. ManorCare – Monroeville has provided a true awakening as to how great SNFs and nursing care facilities can be. I love the place she’s in now. I’d be more than happy to refer anyone to this particular facility. Thanks.

I am very pleased with the total experience. I would like to commend Jennifer, nurse practitioner, and the excellent therapists Chris, Pete and Mark for their extraordinary care given to my husband. I also received excellent administrative assistance from Dana, Linda and Toni. In addition, I was also very pleased with the interactions and needed discussions with Amanda, administrator.
