This is Patricia. I was a patient at Heartland in Dearborn Heights. I wanted to compliment all of the staff on the wonderful time I spent at your center. I was depressed, hurting and in pain, but through all of the PT, OT and wonderful care I got, I was able to come home. But I kind of wish I was back in there. I appreciate every one of them. Thank you for a wonderful facility.

Heartland is the right name for this place. I was hit by a car while walking and sent to Heartland in Dearborn Heights. When I first got there I was in a dark place. I had just lost my mother a few months before and then got hit by this car. I was mad, depressed and full of anger. I was in a bad place in my life. Then something happened. I started to get to know the staff at Heartland, and they started to show me love and caring. They would know when I was down and be there to pick me up!

I just can’t say enough about my CNA Rhoda. There’s not an employee there that practices the Ten Commandments of Caring more than her on a daily basis. She works so very hard that she forgets about herself many times just to take care of her patients. She is one in a million! There are other very good employees there. Fay (Nurse), Andrea (CNA), my nurses on 400 hall, Tracy (Administrator), Sandy, Krysten, Karen from the kitchen, the laundry staff. There’s just so many I could fill this whole page.

These people went above and beyond their jobs to help me and make me happy and do whatever they could for me, and I will never forget what they did for me. You will forever be in my heart, and I will miss you all. I could not have ended up in a better place; they put me on the path to recovery and getting my life back together. And for this, I am forever grateful to you all.

I am calling to leave a message about my excellent care. My name is Beverly, and I was at Heartland in Dearborn Heights. My care was excellent, and if I had to return, I would definitely come back. All of the aides were good, but Vera and Joyce were wonderful, wonderful. Melody in administrative was very kind, nice and considerate. To be treated with respect and dignity means a lot.
