ProMedica Hospice serving South Jersey provided an ice cream truck for the employees, patients and residents at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Voorhees West, NJ).

Jerome McCool, administrator at ProMedica Hospice, shared, “We provide care for both hospice and palliative patients at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation and thought it would be a great treat for the patients and residents at the center along with all our ProMedica employees to enjoy. It was great to see everyone enjoy their day outside and the ice cream provided by Mr. Softee.”

I am e-mailing you to let you know what outstanding care my mother, Nancy, received during her stay at the Voorhees ManorCare. It started from the very first person I met at the front desk, Christine. She is a very helpful, very warm person. Everybody that we met, or helped in some way with mom’s rehab, from the nursing staff, or with her food services or cleaning of her room, were just great.

I have to point out two other outstanding people that work for you, and as far as I am concerned, you are very lucky to have people and staff like these. First is Caitlin, your Administrator. Not only is she one of the nicest people you could ever meet, but she gave me a tour of your facility and was extremely helpful answering all of our questions and needs, and is one of the main reasons we picked the Voorhees location. The other outstanding employee was Cherrell, one of your PTs. My mother could not say enough how much she liked her and how good a job she did with her therapy every day.

I am leaving many others out, so I will just say the entire staff did an outstanding job, and we can’t thank you all enough. The facility is extremely clean, and I was extremely impressed with everything. In closing, I would like to thank all of the staff at ManorCare in Voorhees, N.J. for helping my mother during her rehabilitation. I have already recommended you to countless people. I have been a patient for six weeks now, and everything is great. Everything from the housekeeping department to the top is perfect. The facility is like a 5-star hotel. The physical therapy department is 5-star and has state-of-the-art equipment. The administrator is great, and she comes down and interacts with the patients. The way the administrator carries herself trickles down to her staff. The administrator has a great personality, shows compassion and overall is a great person. She makes herself available and approachable.
