ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation centers have been recognized as recipients of the 2022 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) for their commitment to improving the lives of residents through quality care. The distinction is the first of three progressive award levels through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. The program, presented by the leading association in long term and post-acute care, honors providers across the country that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality of care for our nation’s seniors and people with disabilities.

We are happy to announce the following centers who have earned the 2022 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award:

• ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Centerville, OH)
• ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Bucyrus, OH)
• ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Old Orchard, PA)

Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award applicants develop an organizational profile with essential performance elements such as vision, mission statement, and key strengths and challenges. They must also demonstrate their ability to implement a sustainable performance improvement system. Trained examiners review each application to determine if the center has met the demands of the criteria. As a recipient of the Bronze - Commitment to Quality award, these ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation centers may now move forward in developing approaches and achieving advanced levels of performance that meet the Silver - Achievement in Quality award criteria.

I want to mention one aide who did an outstanding job of care both at the beginning and end of my stay, especially in bathing me. Her name is Marie. I’d like to also mention a few others. Maria and Crystal stood out to me in the job they did. Also, Pat. I also want to compliment my PTs, Eric and Miriam, who were so compassionate as well as competent guiding my therapy. My OTs, Linda, Cheryl and Coleen, were exceptional with their compassion and instructing. The therapists were my rock and my lifelines. Therapy was the best part of my stay.
